We hire for diagnostic judgment first. Technical skill, second.
Can you find a root cause from ambiguous information rather than jumping to a solution? Do you default to process and people questions before proposing technology? That's what we evaluate for -- technical BI or AI skill is assessed separately, and never substitutes for it.
Diagnostic judgment over tool fluency
Consultant candidates are evaluated against the same evidence-based reasoning standard we hold our AI agents to: can you diagnose a root cause from ambiguous information, rather than jumping straight to a solution.
Business-first instinct
Do you default to process and people questions before proposing technology? That instinct is the actual hiring bar -- technical skill is necessary, but it isn't sufficient on its own.
An executive voice
Can you communicate a finding the way a fifteen-minute reader needs it communicated -- confident, concise, and traceable to evidence -- rather than the way a fifty-minute writer wants to write it.
Structured onboarding, not shadowing
New consultants onboard directly against our full execution playbook -- working through the methodology section by section, then co-delivering a live engagement stage by stage. Onboarding time goes into absorbing a documented system, not reconstructing tribal knowledge from a colleague's head.
From doing the analysis to directing it
As our AI agent library matures, training shifts from how to do the analysis toward how to direct, validate, and override agent output -- reviewing AI-generated findings critically rather than blindly trusting or redundantly redoing the work. That's the skill that keeps a consultant valuable as delivery gets more AI-native, not redundant to it.
We practice what we sell
Our own internal operations are held to the same governance discipline we sell to clients -- named ownership, a defined review cadence, no exceptions. A firm that sells performance discipline is expected to visibly practice it internally.
No open roles listed right now -- reach out anyway.
We're a small, early-stage firm. If the description above sounds like you, tell us -- we'd rather hear from you before we have a formal opening than miss you after.
